15 April 2025 को Rakuten Mobile ने announce किया कि MMDLabo survey में foreign residents द्वारा contracted communication services ranking में Rakuten Mobile first था।
Survey में communication contract रखने वाले 750 foreign residents शामिल थे। Respondents Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia, Myanmar और China origin के थे।
Survey में 21.0% foreign-national respondents Rakuten Mobile use कर रहे थे, जो सबसे अधिक था। SoftBank 15.6% के साथ next था।
3GB तक उपयोग पर शुल्क टैक्स सहित ¥1,078 है। ज्यादा उपयोग वाले महीने में डेटा शुल्क टैक्स सहित ¥3,278 तक रहता है।
Rakuten Mobile के प्लान देखेंRecommendation का मुख्य कारण
Rakuten के अनुसार foreign customers ने usage fee और data allowance को high evaluate किया। Japan में monthly cost घटाने के लिए ये दो बातें सबसे जरूरी हैं।
Rakuten Saikyo Plan में 3GB तक 1,078 yen, 20GB तक 2,178 yen और 20GB से ऊपर 3,278 yen है। Prices tax included हैं, calls और paid options अलग हो सकते हैं।

Foreign residents sign up कर सकते हैं?
हाँ। Japan में रहने वाले Indian और other foreign residents Rakuten Mobile apply कर सकते हैं, अगर accepted identity document, Japan address और payment method हो।

Current number रखना है तो application में MNP चुनें। Number transfer complete होने से पहले old carrier cancel न करें।

Students, workers, maps/translation apps use करने वाले, video देखने वाले और monthly phone bill घटाना चाहने वाले users के लिए Rakuten Mobile strong candidate है।
3,278 yen data ceiling monthly usage बदलने पर भी budget control में मदद करता है। Current bill 5,000 yen से ऊपर है तो comparison जरूर करें।
पूरी तरह switch करने से पहले apartment, office, school और commute route पर coverage check करें, खासकर large cities से बाहर।
Language support भी बढ़ रहा है
Rakuten Mobile ने shops में English, Chinese, Nepali आदि language support वाले crew और multilingual documents बढ़ाने की बात कही है।
POCKETALK को 162 stores nationwide में introduce किया गया है। Rakuten के अनुसार shop contracts में foreign-national customers का share year over year 8% बढ़कर about 25% हुआ।
Payment notices जैसी जानकारी को easy Japanese में बनाना भी important है, क्योंकि support application के बाद भी जरूरी होता है।
Apply करने से पहले check करें
Coverage, phone compatibility, residence card validity, payment method और name/address consistency जरूर check करें।
